Pryce suffers heavy Arron defeat
radley Pryce took a heavy beating from eventual champion Prince Arron in the semi-finals of Prizefighter.
Event favourite Pryce, 28, had claimed a hard-fought revenge points win over Neil Sinclair in the quarter-final.
But the lanky Arron eased to a points win, using his superior reach to telling effect at the York Hall.
“All respect to Bradley Pryce, he was a really good fighter but maybe he is on his way down and after the first round I was beating him up,” said Arron.
The Manchester fighter, 22, clinched the £32,000 top prize with a thrilling victory over Brett Flournoy in the final.
The innovative, one-night tournament saw eight men competing in four quarter-finals of three rounds.
The winners advanced to the semi-final and then the final on the same night, each bout over three rounds.
