Scotlands Lee Mcallister set for haye bill

Scotland’s Lee McAllister is set for world exposure when he fights on the undercard of David Haye’s first world heavyweight title defence against John Ruiz.

The 27-year-old Aberdeen Assassin will risk his Commonwealth lightweight title against Ben Murphy at Manchester’s MEN Arena on April 3.

Londoner Haye puts his WBA belt on the line against John Ruiz of the US in a live show from Sky Box Office PPV.

Victory over his English rival would boost Lee’s hopes of a Euro title challenge and a possible rematch against England’s John Murray.

Ben Murphy’s promoter Frank Maloney said: “Lee McAllister better get his dancing shoes on. He’ll be getting pushed backwards all night long.”
