Fan’s favourite loses on debut
Fan’s favourite Jamie Moore retired after the 5th round against the Belorussian Sergey Khomitski tonight, at Manchester’s MEN Arena on the Haye vs Ruiz undercard.
The stoppage seemed a little soft but Moore’s corner pulled Jamie out. After the fight Jamie said “I trust my corner men, my life is in their hands.”
Moore revealed in his post-fight interview that despite being afforded the extra pounds in weight, he was still feeling flat and was unsure where to go next. He concluded that he may take a break or possibly even retire. If he does return to the sport, he may take a fight at Super Middleweight.
Jamie’s record now stands at 32-5 (23KO) whilst his opponents record improves to 22-7(9KO).
