2010 started for Callum Johnson at the Commonwealth Games. Johnson, who lives in London, England qualified to box for Scotland through his grandparents. Callum Johnson was reduced to tears as he went on to win a light-heavyweight gold medal for Scotland at the Talkatora Stadium in Delhi.
After Johnson’s success he was much a wanted man but then had a tough decision to stay amatuer or turn professional. Johnson decided to turn professional with Naseem Hamed as his manager. His first professional fight was in December against Phillip Townley which Johnson won by TKO in the second round.
Johnson looks like a very promising professional boxer in the making. What will 2011 hold for Johnson?
