Bob Trieger, 59, was born and raised in Boston. He started as a sportswriter in 1968 for the Allston-Brighton Citizen Item and has been published in multiple newspapers and sports magazines throughout New England. In 1975, he started working in the publicity department at Wonderland Greyhound Park in Revere (MA), where he was employed for 22 years as publicity director, director of communications and assistant general manager.
His sports public relations agency, Full Court Press, was founded in February 1998 in North Reading (MA). FCP provides sports public relations and publicity consulting for businesses, clubs, organizations and athletes in New England.
Trieger has worked 21 major world title fights, as well as the entire Gatti-Ward trilogy, Tyson-McBride fight and the “Affliction Banned” mixed-martial arts show. Over the past few years, he has worked in association with Don King Productions, DiBella Entertainment, Gotham Boxing, Warriors Boxing, Tournament of Champions, and Main Events, including numerous ESPN2 Friday Night Fights and some HBO, Showtime and independent pay-per-view shows.
