The popular Brick City Boxing Series takes center stage again at the Prudential Center’s AmeriHealth Pavilion, Newark, New Jersey as Main Events in association with DiBella Entertainment presents a key Junior Middlweight matchup as Joel Julio (36-4, 31KOs) squares off against Antwone Smith (20-2-1, 12KOs) in a crossroads fight that could have future title implications for the winner.
In addition to the main event, former Olympian Sadam “World Kid” Ali (12-0, 7 KOs) from Brooklyn heads up a undercard loaded with young talent as he takes on John Revish (10-3-2, 8 Kos) in a eight round co-feature. Popular Jose Peralta”El Mangu” Alejo of Jersey City returns again in a scheduled six as does Joel “El Rey” Castillo from the Bronx. Newark’s own Angel Concepcion and Middletown’s Tyrone Luckey are in action, and crowd favorite brawler Vinny “The Lion” O’Brien of East Hanover takes to the Ring again.
