After beating Lenny Daws for the British title on the 19th February. Theophane has had numerous British fighters request to face him. English champion Nigel Wright, Southern Area champion Darren Hamilton, Steve Williams, Frankie Gavin and Peter McDonagh have all got paper inches by challenging the Champion.

Theophane, who beat IBF World number three Delvin Rodriguez last July and former WBO World champion Demarcus Corley in 2008 has shown interest in fighting McAllister in a unification match up for the 23rd July show on his Twitter account.

The British champion also named former WBC World champion Junior Witter, former European champion Colin Lynes and former British champion Barry Morrison as other possible opponents for his first defence in his New York, New York blog.

Witter and Lynes fight in the Welterweight Prizefighter on Tuesday, then Morrison and McAllister fight on the Saturday.
All four fighters are fighting within the week so will be available if they up for the challenge in six weeks time.

Theophane is currently in New York City training at the World famous Gleason’s gym in Brooklyn as he prepares to start his journey to win a Lonsdale belt outright with three defences.
