Current WBC and WBO bantamweight sensation, Nonito Donaire has expressed his excitement at returning to the ring on November 5th. It will be six days from then that he will be marrying his sweetheart, Rachel Marcel but Donaire is confident that the marriage will still be going ahead unless serious injury is caused.
“It’s no problem as long as I don’t get injured. Actually, I am excited that I will fight and that it will be followed by my wedding. I’m going to have plenty of pressure on me in training camp. I must not get hurt so I will need to train very hard. I don’t pick my opponents but I prefer the very best so it would drive me very hard to train because if I meet the very best then it motivates me to be at my best in training. If that happens then I know nobody that can beat me. In my heart and in my mind, body and spirit I know I will give everything”, said Donaire.
Nonito is currently looking to win a fourth world title at 122lb and it may depend on the winner of Toshiaki Nishioka vs Rafael Marquez that takes place on October 1st.
