Tom Little, a hot Heavyweight prospect from Hatfield is aiming to set the division alight starting Friday 18th November at York Hall when he fights on the undercard of Selby vs. Simpson. With a solid amateur pedigree and standing at a heavy handed 6ft 6, Little has all the necessary attributes to start making waves in the domestic heavyweight division.
Under the tutorage of Graham Earl at his House of Champions gym, Little is also known for having exceptional speed for his huge frame, which served him well in an amateur career that saw him win 16 of his 20 contests. Little also won his first pro contest in a convincing display against Rolandas Cesna in 4X3s as part of a Graham Earl promoted event in Luton.
Little fights this time as part of a Queensberry promoted show and the hot prospect will be looking to impress as he gets his first chance to impress in front of a television audience on BoxNation. Francis Warren of Queensberry said, “ It’s good to see Tom Little getting an outing on the York Hall card on the 18th. The fight fans always love to see a good heavyweight so it will be fantastic if Tom can live up to his potential and start progressing in the division. With fighters like Del Boy Chisora and Tyson Fury having progressed to European and world contention very quickly, it shows a good heavyweight can start making a name for himself early in his career.”
Little will be part of a great card that includes the Southern Area Cruiserweight Championship dust up between exciting Queensberry prospect Tony Conquest and Toks Owoh. The rest of the undercard features the likes of Billy Morgan, Terry Holmes, Menay Edwards, Matthew Tew and former challenger to Ricky Burns’s WBO Super Featherweight Title, Andreas Evansen.
Tickets priced £40 and £60 are available from the Queensberry Promotions Box Office on 01992 550 888 orwww.frankwarren.tv
