Ringnews24.com: When you fought Colin Jones early in his career, could you tell right away he was going to be a Special fighter?
Jonny Pincham: No not at all, as a matter of fact I was ahead on points when the referee stopped the fight when I got a bad cut on my eye. Colin improved and went on to greater achievements in the ring and became a leading contender for a World Title.

Ringnews24.com: In your career you fought frequently, do you look at todays fighters and envy their less active schedule?
Johnny Pincham: It’s ridiculous what is happening just now, they don’t box enough and learn their trade. The trainers are just not around anymore to teach them it’s a sorry state of affairs in my opinion.
Ringnews24.com: Who gave you your toughest fight at amateur or professional level?
Johnny Pincham: Two boxers stand out in my career Speedy Mitchell and Clinton McKenzie as giving me my toughest battles. Clinton was awesome fighter, never came across anybody as strong in the ring as he was.

Ringnews24.com: Do you watch much boxing, if so who is your favorite fighter of today?
Johnny Pincham: I watch some boxing on the television, regarding my favourite I have to say none of them. I just don’t think boxers today are up to the standard of years ago in my opinion.
Ringnews24.com: You retired at the young age of 25 years old, is there any reason why you retired so early?
Johnny Pincham: Yes after I fought Dave Proud and lost on a technical stoppage, I don’t blame Dave Proud or the referee in charge. It took all the ambition from me, and I was never the same fighter after that fight.
Ringnews24.com: If you had a chance to go back in time, would you have still gone into boxing?
