Chisora and Klitschko exchange friendly fire at London press conference

Londoner WBC heavyweight challenger, Dereck Chisora and Vitali Klitschko came head to head at their press conference at the Landmark hotel in London yesterday. ahead of their February 18th showdown in Munich, Germany. The bout will be broadcast live on Boxnation.

Champion, Klitschko and Chisora were all smiles and while there were no fireworks, Chisora had some wisecracks in store for the veteran Ukrainian boxer.

Chisora: “I hope you don’t chicken out like your brother. I hope you don’t come up with excuses to pull out of the fight. Everybody is tired of you and your brother because you do not bring excitement to the game. They have killed the sport I love. Eight is my lucky number and Klitschko is going down in eight. I’m physically and mentally coming to take what’s his and make it mine. You’re the ‘Ironfist’ but I’m going to destroy you in your own back yard. I am the black plague.”

Klitschko: “Dereck is the best contender out there. I know he will not be an easy opponent and I am treating the fight seriously. Everyone says that the fights of the Klitschkos are boring but that’s because we win. We need someone who can beat us. I believe Dereck can do that.”
