Stephen Smith and Ben Jones weighed in today ahead of their clash this Friday at London’s Troxy where they meet for the Vacant WBO Intercontinental Super-Featherweight Championship.
Liverpool star Smith, fresh from his win in Germany on the undercard of Derek Chisora and Vitali Klitschko’s much publicised World Heavyweight Title bout, weighed in at 128lb, whilst Jones, of Crawley, weighed in at 127lb.
Smith goes into the clash with only one blip on a polished career record, in which he lost his Lonsdale belt in a stoppage loss to Lee Selby last year. The Liverpool man will be looking to avenge the loss to Selby at some point down the line providing he can come through the challenge of the tough Ben Jones tomorrow night.
