Kendall Holt Stops Tim Coleman In Two Rounds

On paper, it definitely looked like a pretty good fight, but unfortunately, didn’t live up to it in the ring. Kendall Holt, like Kendall Holt, he was sharp, and powerful early in the fight and Tim “Pitbull” Coleman couldn’t survive whether the storm and pretty much gave up. There was no dog in him in this fight.

In the first couple of minutes in the first round, Coleman was pressing and letting his hands go. Nothing significant was landing, but he was doing what he should have been doing. Pressing and trying to make life uncomfortable for Holt, without getting hit himself. With a good twenty seconds left in the round, Kendall Holt landed a big left hook to the body that dropped Coleman. Coleman was able to get up, and survive, but it wouldn’t be for long.

Holt pressed the action in the second and Coleman did nothing but cover up and drop to his knees….three times before the corner stopped the fight. Kendall Holt, is still a major player in 140 pound division and is definitely a major problem for just about everybody. He’s a tall fighter, with major power, he has his flaws, but is a risky fighter to fight.

While a loss for either fighter didn’t look to be catastrophic going into the fight, that definitely looks like the case for Tim Coleman. He trained himself, and wasn’t in it. He had no fight, and basically quit as soon as Holt started landing. Coleman, after the fight, look to say that he’s done when the cameras panned to him. And if he’s going to give that type of effort, well, he definitely is done.

On a more positive note, at least Teddy Atlas kept his college basketball analogies to a minimum.
