Two title fights coming to York Hall on June 29th

Saturday night evening of professional boxing featuring two title fights and a fabulous undercard.

As well as standard tickets and reserved ringside you can get VIP tickets which provide guaranteed tickets in the first two rows and a free bar in your own private VIP bar. The bar will be open from 5pm to 8pm.

London Cruiserweight Menay ‘The Emperor’ Edwards fresh from his wins over former British Champion Shane McPhilbin and world ranked number 70 Arturs Kulikauskis fights for his first title when he competes for the British Masters Cruiserweight title against Welshman Hari Miles who reached the final in the recent Prizefighter competition. This is a real grudge match after Miles taunted Menay on social network sites.

In a third title fight Grays’ Lee “The Banjo” Markham defends his British Masters Middleweight title against former Central Area title challenger and WBC World Youth title challenger Alisatair Warren. Warren has lost only 4 from 14 fights and provides a stern test.

In an exciting 8 round Welterweight clash former British title challenger Michael Lomax faces former Commonwealth championn Bradley Pryce in a crossroads clash for both boxers. Pryce won their first encounter and Lomax is looking for revenge.

In another mouth watering 8 round clash the exciting”Smokin” Joe Mullender who is undefeated in 4 fights to date aims to make it 5 from 5 in taking on former Southern-Area Champion Gary Boulden.

The show features the debut of former professional footballer now professional boxer Leon McKenzie in a 4 round Super-Middleweight contest.

Southern Area Super-Featherweight champion Michael “Chunky” Devine makes his first appearance since winning his title in a 6 round international contest.

There is further heavyweight action with the long awaited debut of the exciting Dominic Akinlade in a 4 round contest.

Former Southern Area title challenger Kris Agyei-Dua makes his welcome return to a Goodwin show in a 6 round contest.

Leading amateur Johnny Coyle makes his professional debut. Johnny takes on the game veteran Dee Mitchell from Birmingham.

Also making his debut in the same Light-Middleweight division is “Showstar” Sohail Ahmad. Sohail won 15 from 17 amateur starts and makes his professional bow against Kristian Laight from Nuneaton.

Myley Cash hopes to make it 2 from 2 in a super middleweight contest over 4 rounds.

Middleweight Alan Higgins who has won all five contests so far goes for win number 6 in a 6 round clash. Alan takes on the ultra tough Gilson De Jesus.
