RICKY HATTON is delighted to have found a new home for his Hatton Promotions stable.
‘The Hitman’ has agreed a co-promotional deal with Frank Warren which will see the company’s stars, including the likes of Martin Murray, Gary Buckland and Sergey Rabchenko, box exclusively on the specialist network BoxNation (Sky Ch. 437/Virgin Ch. 546).
Hatton Promotions built up a solid reputation as one of the UK’s leading promotional outfits during three years of staging championship fights on Sky Sports.
Unfortunately, last year Sky decided to sign an exclusive deal with just one promoter, leaving Hatton and a number of others without televised dates.
Since then Ricky and Hatton Promotions head of boxing Richard Poxon have worked tirelessly to find a new deal and they feel that BoxNation is the best outlet for showcasing the organisation’s crop of talent.
“Hatton Promotions had been bobbing along and surviving without TV dates which obviously made it extremely difficult so it’s amazing news for my fighters now to get the chance once again to appear on TV thanks to BoxNation,” Ricky said.
