Ringnews24.com: You lost your first fight against Kevin Satchell, how dissapointing was it for you?
The decision was very disappointing, as I and my team were very confident we had the victory after the 12 rounds. Words couldn’t describe how I felt when it happened.
Ringnews24.com: The judges had it close with score cards reading 115-113, 115-113, 115-114. Did you feel you did enough to get the decision?
As I said, I and my team were very happy with the performance and how I boxed. We thought and most of the Echo Arena thought we had did enough for the win along side the commentators on the fight.
Ringnews24.com: Looking back on the fight is there anything you would of liked to have done different?
There are a few things I would change in a rematch with Kevin, I won’t say in case I get the rematch, sorry guys!
Ringnews24.com: How do you view the your loss, do you view it as a learning experience?
I view the fight as a learning experience, not the loss because I still don’t feel I lost the fight, but that fight with Kevin has made me a better fighter. I have gained lots of experience from the fight which will help me in my future fights.
Ringnews24.com: Your promoter Paul Graham is trying to get you a rematch with Satchell. Any news if a rematch will happen? If not, when will we see you fight again?
If it’s down to Kevin Satchell and his manager Steve Wood I can promise this there is no rematch, as we spoke after the fight and it was made clear, no rematch!
My manager Paul has told me it’s down to the board who is next to fight Kevin, so I am praying the look at our fight and think the same as me that I should be made mandatory challenger.
I want to put the decision right! If the fight doesn’t happen, I and my team and Paul have spoken, and we have another wrote to go down that will keep me boxing at a high level so you will see me for sure if not earlier in October.
Ringnews24.com: Message for the fans?
