USA Rico Hoye (23-3-) joins Ringnews24 boxing radio to chat about his up coming fight and his lengthy layoff from boxing.
Anthony George: You are scheduled to be fighting on July 26 in Illinois and I want to know if that fight is still on? and do you know who you are going to fight? You haven’t fought since 2009 and how come such a long lay off?
Rico Hoye: That I know the fight is still scheduled to take place July 26 in Illinois with CFC promotions, as far as opponents are concerned we keep getting turned down. Everybody wants you know, for me I am looking for something, I don’t want a easy fight of course. We looking for a journey man somebody thats going to give me rounds and test my skills, and let me know if I even deserve to be in the heavyweight featuring or in boxing at all. Everybody we putting calls out to, we are getting turned down or they want ridiculous money to face me.
