Trench war guaranteed between Pacquiao and Rios

Former champion Austin Trout offered his opinion on the upcoming Manny Pacquiao v Brandon Rios fight which takes place on November 23rd.

Speaking to Fighthype.com, Trout said, “Bam Bam’s got yout on his side. Pacquiao, he might be a little bit beat up. I’ma go with Bam Bam. You know, I don’t think Pacquiao is going to knock him out or hurt him. If he can hurt him, you know; I think Bam Bam can hurt Pacquiao.”

A lot of people are expecting Pacquiao to walk right through Rios but attempting to do that could end up being a huge gamble for the Filipino fighter as there are now question marks over his punch resistance since his hard knockout defeat to Juan Manuel Marquez. Rios walks forward and loves a war. People know this plays very well into the hands of Pacquiao but the Texan loves to be hit and welcomes any degree of punishment in order to deliver his own. We have seen Rios at his worst against former title challenger John Murray when Rios was being outboxed but summoned enough within himself to end matters in the eleventh after being weight drained. You may say that Pacquiao is a whole different kettle of fish compared to Murray. And that is true, but it showed that Rios has a huge fighting heart and will do what it takes to win. There is still approximately four months to go but everyone can be assured that both guys will be taken into the trenches.
