Live Stream; Boxing in Paradise 6: John Jackson vs. Tony Hirsch

On August 17th from the Mack C Marin Center in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands, there will be plenty of LIVE Boxing action for our fans WORLDWIDE on GFL.tv!

In the Main Event, John Jackson (16-1) will look to continue his rise as a prospect in the Jr. Middleweight division when he takes on the VERY upset minded Tony Hirsch (14-5-2). Jackson is on in 3 fight winning streak, including a unanimous decision victory over previously undefeated Cerresso Fort (16-0-1), since dropping a unanimous decision to highly touted prospect Willie Nelson (21-1-1). Jackson, the son of the legend Julius Jackson, looks to follow in his father’s footsteps but to do so he must defeat the extremely tough Hirsch.

Hirsch, riding a two fight winning streak, has suffered some close controversial defeats throughout his career. Used as an opponent for the better part of his career, Hirsch suffered close decision loses to #1 Ranked Demetrius Andrade as well as highly touted prospects Shawn Estrada, Francisco Santana, and Dmitry Chudinov, Now, with a new manager behind him, Hirsch looks to get his career back on track and an upset win over Jackson can do so. You can expect FIREWORKS LIVE WORLDWIDE on GFL.tv, as both of these men are known to leave it all in the ring!!

Another son of the Legend Julius Jackson, Julius Jackson (15-0) will look to continue his undefeated streak as he battles the crafty veteran Joel McRae (9-3-1). Jackson, also known as “The Chef”, will look to batter his foe in front of a WORLDWIDE audience LIVE on GFL.tv. Not only does a dominant win grab tons of exposure but it will help him to position himself as a contender not just a prospect. McRae, coming off a loss, is not to be taken lightly, as he is known to give it his all every time h steps foot in the ring. Also even the McRae has 3 loses, they were all to the same opponent. A win for McRae here could erase the memory of those loses and position him for another big fight.

Samuel “Rock City Cobra” Rogers (13-0), another undefeated Jr. Middleweight prospect from the Virgin Islands, will be taking on a tough test in veteran gatekeeper Brandon Baue (12-10). Baue, recently dropped to decision to former champion Yuri Foreman as well as highly touted prospect Abraham Han, so an impressive stoppage here could put Rogers right on the map and in title contention. Baue, who’s career is on the line after dropping 6 straight, will have it all on the line as he is doing battle for the survival of his career. This will be an EXPLOSIVE bout for the fans watching LIVE WORLDWIDE on GFL.tv!!
