Miranda Carter’s Left Jab Promotions stages its next York Hall show on Sunday 29th September.
To mark her 20th outing at the Bethnal Green venue, Miranda brings a title fight, a long-awaited debut, and a landmark fight for a favourite boxer, as well as a full supporting card.
Unbeaten welterweight (6-0) Matt McCarthy fights for his first title, a British Masters International belt, against Czech Jan Holec.
Erstwhile film actor Billy Rumble makes his pro debut at lightweight, having become the latest addition to Miranda’s management stable.
‘Journeyman’ Johnny Greaves fights for the 100th time and bows out of his pro career at his favourite small hall, a stone’s throw from his East Ham home.
Also on the card, Slough’s George Michael Carman, who has already staked his claims at world youth level, and Maidenhead’s undefeated Chris Rackley. Further debuts feature Tommy Williams and Adam Salman.
Two fighters return to the ring after injury – Areti Mastrodouka after a broken rib, in a fight aimed at furthering her claims at European level, and bookie’s favourite Frankie Monkhouse has recovered from an eye problem.
It’s set to be another rollicking afternoon at York Hall!
