Pro Box North East would like to invite the region’s boxing fans to attend an open weigh-in ahead of their professional boxing show which takes place on Saturday October 19 at the Rainton Meadows Arena (Houghton Le Spring, DH4 5PH).
The weigh-in will take place at 12pm on Friday October 18 at The Cavalier pub which is situated on Silksworth Lane, Sunderland (SR3 1AQ).
Weighing in on the day will be the headline fighters, Sunderland’s Kirk Goodings and Middlesbrough’s Paul Truscott, who will be contesting the vacant English lightweight title, and both will be available for interviews and pictures after stepping off the scales.
“Weigh-ins are always exciting and this is a great opportunity for fans to come along and sample the atmosphere, as well as meet the boxers,” said promoter Phil Jeffries.
“This will be a tremendous fight and the weigh-in will start the build up to the show. If you haven’t got your ticket yet you won’t want to miss out, this will be one of the best shows in the North East this year.”
