I am an outgoing person and I like to regularly keep fit. When I want something, I want it and strive ‘til I get it. I like challenges. I love socialising with my friends and family having a laugh and going out. I dream on becoming successful one day.

Most people don’t know that I played football for almost 10 years.
Ringnews24.com: How did you get started in modelling?
I have become more involved since joining Mayhem.
Ringnews24.com: How did you become a ring girl for Mayhem Boxing?
There was a chance at the car show at the SECC so I went and then at the end I got told I was in.
Ringnews24.com: If you hadn’t become a ring girl, what would you like to have been instead?
Something to do with sports, I love sporty things.
Ringnews24.com: What was the most memorable time for you in front of a camera?
At the car show; I’m not used to everyone asking for photos with me. It was so weird – everyone was coming up asking me to model beside their car. It was really good.
Ringnews24.com: Do you have any style icons and mentors?
I look up to loads of celebrities as many are so beautiful. I love Miley Cyrus no matter what crazy thing she does next, she just doesn’t care what people think about her. Also Michelle Keegan – she is just so naturally beautiful.
Ringnews24.com: How do you keep in shape and maintain such a perfect figure? Do you have any fitness and diet tips for our readers?
Hmm I’ve always eaten what I like and I pig out a lot of the time especially when I am hungover. I just go out running three or four times a week or go to the gym.
Ringnews24.com: What do you enjoy doing during your spare time?
Football, running and being around my friends. I’m always the crazy one out of my friends and I am up for anything, I just like to get a laugh and have fun.
Shannon Blanchard will be attending the Mayhem Boxing Babes Ring Girl Competition on the 26th of October in Glasgow. Guest Judges are Joe Calzaghe, Sarah Mclean and Nathan Cleverly.

I am going to be doing my first ring girl appearance – I’m so excited but so nervous; get the sickly feeling when I think about it haha.
