Robbie Davies Jnr to fight twice in three weeks

Coldwell Boxing star prospect, Robbie Davies Jnr, will endure a busy winter period this year as the Kirkby youngster fights twice in three weeks with promoter, Dave Coldwell, desperate to provide his impressive charge with much needed rounds. Davies Jnr has excelled in the pro game thus far with two successive opening round blowouts and his second of two upcoming scheduled fights is against another unbeaten fighter as he goes up against Swindon’s Darren Carter on December 14th at his beloved Liverpool Olympia. Coldwell is upbeat about Davies Jnr’s chances.

“Robbie is one of the most exciting young talents in this country and I’d certainly put him on the same level as some of the Olympians who have turned pro in the last year or so. He hasn’t got out of second gear for his first two fights and that is why I’ve gone for something a little different this time around. Carter is unbeaten and he has a good reputation in the area he boxes out of and he also brings a perfect record. He’s got something to protect so that means he will give it his all because he’ll be in no mood to lose out to another unbeaten fighter. 2014 could be a massive year for Robbie but right now he has to just aim his thoughts on the next few weeks.”

ROBBIE DAVIES JNR BOXES ON “HOT SHOTS” ON NOVEMBER 22ND AND AT “NEW KIDS ON THE DOCK 2” ON DECEMBER 14TH. TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FROM WWW.COLDWELLBOXING.COM. BOTH SHOWS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE COLDWELL TELEVISION APP. DOWNLOAD IT NOW
