Chas “The Sparta” Symonds making one last title charge

31 year old former two times Southern Area Welterweight champion Chas “The Sparta” Symonds is making one last attempt at gate crashing the big time after inking a three year contract with one of the UK’s fastest growing managers Steve Goodwin who also heads Goodwin Promotions.

Symonds has not been seen since suffering back to back defeats against Bradley Skeete and steve O’Meara said  in his own release said “ This is the Man that is going to Get me where i should be that is at the top it is now or never for me. Steve Goodwin has just took me over to his team. My next fight in on 7 th December at York Hall: New team, New start , new titles, I am buzzung to show what i can do”

Steve Goodwin said “There is no doubt Chas has never lived the life. He has been living in Greece running a bar but has met a wonderful girl Amy out there and rather than partying he wants to live the life and give it one final go. I will provide every opportunity for him to do it and as I said to him I want when he is older to be able to tell his grandkids he gave it everything one last time rather than ponder what may have been.

Chas will be out on 7th December then in March and then May/June next year he will have his defining fight.

I am looking forward to working with him and welcome him to our ever expanding team.
