Today at the Tower Hotel in London the UK Prizefighters met their American counterparts with underdog Tom “Not So” Little ready to shock UK boxing and record a Prizefighter triumph.
“I want old man James Toney” in the first round said Little. “He was disrespectful and rude to the UK boxers barely acknowledging us and wanting his own changing room away from all other boxers.” Little continued “Give me Grandpa James in round 1 and I will make him pay for what he said and is saying about us UK boys”.
“The other American boxers were all pleasant and nice guys but it wont stop me beating them up.”
Other British boxers at the press day were Matt Legg, Larry Olubamiwo and Michael Sprott. Olubamiwo has had a perfect preparation under trainer Ben Doughty sparring many rounds in the Prizefighter format and looks ready after his early return from a ban from the sport. For Michael Sprott it is chance to join Audley Harrison as a two time Prizefighter winner and for Legg a chance at the end of his career to enter the big stage.
Little has other ideas “This is my time I am the youngest and the least experienced in the competition but this is my time. Tune in to sky Sports and put your money on me. I am going to create a shock”
