Ondrej Pala out to wreck Dereck Chisora’s dream of challenging for a world title next year

Heavyweight destroyer Ondrej Pala says he’ll wreck Dereck Chisora’s dream of challenging for a world title next year when they clash at London’s Copper Box Arena this Saturday night.

Chisora puts his WBO International title on the line with the Vacant WBA International title up for grabs, live and exclusive on BoxNation (Sky Ch. 437/Virgin Ch. 546).

Heavy-handed Pala has stopped 22 out of 35 opponents – with the majority coming inside four rounds – and says that the Finchley puncher will be his next victim.

Pala was due to meet Chisora in April this year, but Chisora instead fought Argentinean Hector Alfredo Avila who he stopped in nine rounds at Wembley Arena.

The 29-year-old from Prague in the Czech Republic is confident he’ll dethrone Chisora who has rejuvenated his career with recent career best performances against Edmund Gerber to capture the European title and top American Malik Scott.

It’s a crucial fight for Chisora who could be in line for a second world title short next year and a loss to Pala would be a devastating set back to his plans.

“I’m sure that my fists will end Chisora’s dream of a world title fight next year,” Said Pala.

“He has overlooked me and is talking about a world title fight which is a big mistake when he’s in the ring with an even bigger puncher than him,”

“I’ve had more knockouts than he’s had fights in his entire career and I feel that he has disrespected me by saying I’m his third choice opponent and he’s even talking about a world title fight next year before he’s fought me.  He’s going to painfully disappointed on Saturday night when he’s flat out and face down on the canvas,”

“He didn’t want to fight me earlier this year and instead beat up a softer fighter in Avila so now he must have got brave and thinks he can beat me,”

“We’ll see on Saturday night who is the last man standing, Chisora won’t be able to stand up to the punches I’ll be hitting him with.”

Dereck Chisora headlines the Copper Box Arena show against Ondrej Pala; London sensation Frank Buglioni challenges for the Vacant WBO European title against Stepan Horvath, plus Bradley Skeete v Colin Lynes for the Vacant English Welterweight title.  An action-packed undercard features Mitchell Smith, Andreas and Chris Evangelou , Georgie Kean, Gary Corcoran and Tom Baker.

*DOORS AT THE COPPER BOX ARENA WILL OPEN THIS SATURDAY AT 5.30PM WITH THE FIRST FIGHT AT 6PM*
