Chris Algieri holds Las Vegas meet and greet

Undefeated junior welterweight professional boxer Chris Algieri held a fan friendly “Meet and Greet” this past Sunday in Las Vegas where he is preparing for his ESPN Friday Night Fights debut on FEBRUARY 14 in his hometown of Huntington, New York.

“It was a great opportunity to meet some terrific kids in Las Vegas and talk about their health and nutrition,” said Algieri, also a pre-med student specializing in clinical nutrition. “Las Vegas has been a terrific place to train with excellent sparring and I’m looking forward to putting on a career best performance on FEBRUARY 14.”

The event was held at the Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Known as “The Fighting Pride of Huntington, New York, Algieri, 18-0-0 (8KO’s) will challenge world ranked Emanuel “The Tranzformer” Taylor, 17-1-0 (12KO”s) on ESPN Friday Night Fights/Rockin Fights 12 at The Paramount in Huntington, New York, presented by Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing.

Advance tickets, priced at $200, $150, $100, $60 and $50 for “ESPN Friday Night Fights/Rockin Fights 12” are available through Ticketmaster, ( www.Ticketmaster.com, 800-745-3000). The Paramount is located at 370 New York Avenue in Huntington, New York, 11743. Doors on the night of the event will open at 7:00 p.m. with the first bell at 7:30 p.m.
