Fans Q&A Session on the Next Bernstein Hangout

The next Al Bernstein Boxing Hangout on Google + and Youtube will be a freewheeling  question and answer session, where fans can ask the Half of Fame boxing broadcaster any question they want about boxing, sports and television. The LIVE hangout is set for 5 p.m. PST time on Wednesday, February 12th and can be viewed on Google Plus at  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycRXhCYSmYM and also be seen live on YouTube at http://tinyurl.com/BoxingHangoutsonYouTube.

Anyone with a video camera and microphone on their computer can join in and ask Al a question on camera live and be a part of the show. To arrange this simply e-mail the Hangout’s Executive Producer Dan Parks at [email protected]. Two of the fans who participate on the show with questions will each also win a signed copy of Al‘s book “30 Years, 30 Undeniable Truths About Boxing Sports and TV.” For more information on Al’s book log on to:  www.j.mp/albernstein

I love discussing the sport with all the great boxing fans out there and this new forum allows me to interact directly with fans from anywhere on the earth,” Al said. He added, “So contact Dan and get on the list to participate. We can talk about any topic you want…well, except maybe foreign policy, the global economy, and 17th Century French literature. Other than those I think we’re good.”

Bernstein will again serve as ringside analyst for  a boxing telecast  on Channel 5 in the United Kingdom when he calls the March 1 match between  top rated super middleweight contender James DeGale and  Gevorg Khatchikian. Al became the first U.S. broadcaster ever to announce boxing on a UK network in 2011 when he joined the Channel Five boxing broadcast team.
