Adam Kettleborough looking for a rematch with Michael Mooney after he defeats Ainsley Seivwright

Ringnews24.com: You have a fight coming up against Ainsley Seivwright. How did that fight come about and which other boxers were you looking at?

My promoter Carl Greaves matched me up with Ainsley who I am fully focused on beating at the moment, but I would love a rematch with Mooney.

Ringnews24.com: Who is your current trainer and where do you train?

My Trainer is Carl Greaves and I train at his gym in Newark.

Ringnews24.com: You are currently in the middle of a training camp to prepare for Seivwright, could you tell us a little about your camp?

Training camp has gone really well this time out, no injury’s and I am in my last week now so just winding it down and getting my mindset right for Saturday. Great camp and I have had the right people around me.

Ringnews24.com: How is your training going and how would you compare it to other training camps that you have done?

This training camp has gone a little smoother and I am feeling much more confidant for the fight, sparring has gone well and I have had some great sparring partners this time around.

Ringnews24.com: Who have you been sparring in preparation for Seivwright?

I have been sparring Daryl Baptist, Kas Hussain, Alex Anderson and Josh Wale, so a variety of weights and styles.

Ringnews24.com: Have you done anything differently in this camp compared to other training camps?

No, not really just a lot more sparring, I always work hard in the gym so I am just waiting for the reward.

Ringnews24.com: Have you seen much footage of Seivwright and what do you think of him as a fighter?

I haven’t seen any of his fights so he is a little unknown to me, I heard he was a good amateur and I am taking him as seriously as any of my other fights.

Ringnews24.com: Do you have a prediction of how the fight will end?

Don’t like to predict but if I was a betting man I wouldn’t bet against me.

Ringnews24.com: You are fighting on March 1st , at the North Kesteven Centre. Have you visited the venue before?

Yes, fought twice there before so I know the venue well, always a good atmosphere there.

Ringnews24.com Who is going to be in your corner on the night? And what do they bring to Team Kettleborough?

Carl Greaves and Andrew Lowe – so a wealth of experience. Carl being a former world champion and has been around boxing most of his life. Andrew has not long been retired but again two weight masters champion and former English title challenger. Both are close friends which I feel is a benefit when you are in that ring fighting as it is a lonely place in there.

Ringnews24.com: How can fans watch the fight? Is the fight on TV and what channel?

Might be on Ricky Hatton TV but I am not 100% sure.

Ringnews24.com: After your victory, are there any fighters that you would like to call out?

Would like a chance to put my one defeat right against Mooney, think it would be a crowd pleaser and I know he won’t turn down the fight.

Ringnews24.com: Do you have a message for the fans?

Thanks for your continuous support, without it I wouldn’t be able to do the sport I love.

Ringnews24.com: Thanks for doing an interview with Ringnews24, we wish you all the best on the night.
