Ringnews24.com: You have a fight coming up against Kieron Gray. How did that fight come about and which other boxers were you looking at?
I don’t really look too much into opponents. I let Carl Greaves do my matching and get me the right fights to progress my career.
Ringnews24.com: Who is your current trainer and where do you train?
My trainer is Sean Thicket and I train at Dennis Hobsons Gym in Gleadless, Sheffield.
Ringnews24.com: You are currently in the middle of a training camp to prepare for Gray, could you tell us a little about your camp?
Camp’s gone brilliant with plenty of sparring with Dave Fidler in build up for his fight two weeks ago. I have also been sparring with Adam Jones who also has a title fight the day after mine so camps been good.
Ringnews24.com: How is your training going and how would you compare it to other training camps that you have done?
Trainings training and Sean Thicket always gets me in the best of shape.
Ringnews24.com: Who have you been sparring in preparation for Gray?
Dave Fidler, Will Burkin and Adam Jones.
Ringnews24.com: Have you done anything differently in this camp compared to other training camps?
A lot more running.
Ringnews24.com: Have you seen much footage of Gray and what do you think of him as a fighter?
I don’t really watch footage of opponents. I just do what I do and I respect any fighter who gets in that ring.
Ringnews24.com: Do you have a prediction of how the fight will end?
As long as I’m victorious that’s all that matters.
Ringnews24.com: You are fighting on March 7th , at the Metrodome in Barnsley, have you visited the venue before?
I’ve grown up in Barnsley so used to visit it regular as a child and now as a professional fighter four times before.

Carl Greaves, my manager, and Sean Thicket, my trainer. Carl has bags of experience and knowledge and Sean understands me as a fighter and knows what I am capable of as a fighter.
Ringnews24.com: How can fans watch the fight? Is the fight on TV and what channel?
I believe that they get posted up on YouTube a few days after.
Ringnews24.com: After your victory, are there any fighters that you would like to call out?
I’m not a fighter to go calling out. I let my fighting and manager do the talking.
