Joey Gamache: Bruun is capable not sensational

Anthony Yigit (9-0-1, 3 KOs) and Kasper Bruun (19-0-1, 4 KOs) clash for the WBC Baltic Light Welterweight Title at the Nordic Fight Night in Esbjerg.

While fighting Anthony Yigit could be the beginning of a new chapter in Kasper Bruun’s career, young Yigit can make a statement for the future with a win on April 12th.

“It’ a great match up! I like the opportunity for Anthony to fight a guy with a good record,“ says Yigit’s coach Joey Gamache.

“The timing is good as you have to be pretty sure of yourself to face a guy with a record like that. But I see Bruun as a capable fighter not a sensational fighter.”

“Anthony is a 2012 Olympian. He is a terrific fighter with so much to offer. I believe Anthony is at a different level. They might have an idea about that, but they will definitely see a different level on April 12th.”

“Anthony has already met tougher opposition in his career than Bruun has. Even Anthony’s easier fights were against much tougher opponents.”
