It’s crunch time this Sunday at York Hall as Miranda Carter presents a bumper afternoon of professional boxing.
Three six-round contests feature Danny Cassius Connor looking to get back into title contention; popular veteran Kreshnik Qato in a tough match-up with Jason Ball; and unbeaten welterweight Matt McCarthy (8-0).
Super middleweight prospect Lerrone Richards (3-0) takes on a testing opponent in Darren McKenna. Dagenham cruiserweight Robin Dupre (3-0) meets Chris Nixon (2-0). Adam ‘The Boy Raw’ Salman (2-0) will try to rough up his latest opponent, and gym-mate Tommy ‘The Wisp’ Williams (1-0) goes for his second pro win. Super featherweight Jack Dishart (3-0-1) takes on a far more experienced opponent in Youssef Al Hamidi.
All this, and four boxers, all from Kent, making their debuts: Alfie Little, Zeki Hussein, Ricky Leach, and Jake Spring.
