Micki Nielsen to face ”The Beast” Igor Pylypenko in Moscow

Both Nielsen brothers will be in action on June 1st in Moscow. Micki Nielsen will face ‘’The Beast’’ Igor Pylypenko in an eight-round contest on the undercard of older brother Patrick’s interim WBA World Middleweight title challenge against Dmitry Chudinov.

Micki Nielsen, the current WBC Youth Cruiserweight Champion, will look to avenge countryman Peter Gram who suffered a shock first-round knockout against Pylypenko at the Nordic Fight Night in Esbjerg this April, and improve to 14-0 when the pair meet at the Mytishchi Arena.

‘’I am expecting a good fight,’’ said Nielsen. ‘’I was ringside to see his match with Gram and he looks like a dangerous fighter. I will be well prepared and I am confident I will get the victory.’’

‘’It is great to have both Nielsen brothers fighting in Moscow,’’ said promoter Nisse Sauerland. ‘’As we saw from the fight against Gram, Pylypenko is not someone you can underestimate. But Micki is a special talent. He will have the opportunity to show everyone what he is capable of on June 1st.”
