Best of Devon Taking Shape

EJKO Promotions’ ‘Best Of Devon’ professional boxing show is taking shape.

The seven-fight card takes place at the Riviera International Centre on Saturday, 21st June.

Plymouth Cruiserweight, Courtney Richards, takes on Lee Kellett for a Bronze Masters Cruiserweight Title.

The 21 year-old will be looking to lift a first belt in only his seventh fight. 35 year-old Kellett has four wins from his 12 professional fights to date.

Torquay’s Torryn Pook steps back in the ring for the first time in two years as he takes on Joe Beedon. The local super featherweight recorded a victory on his professional debut in 2012 and will be looking for a similar outcome when he takes on his Swindon-based opponent.

Exeter trio ‘Pretty Boy’ Freddy Kiwitt, Faheem Khan and Lewis Browning are all in action.

Welterweight Khan takes on debutant Jamie Ingelby, lightweight Lewis Browning takes on Birmingham veteran Sid Razak and Kiwitt takes on tough Halesowen scrapper, Kevin McCauley, at welterweight.

“It’s shaping up to be a good bill,” Promoter, Errol Johnson, told www.uko-boxing.com. “It’s a seven-fight card with a title at the top of the bill. All the lads are exciting fighters and I’m delighted to be putting a show on in Torquay with the help of Carl’s Boxing Stable.”

Completing the card are Plymouth light heavyweight, Angelo ‘Concrete’ Crowe, and  Plympton-based Spanish light heavyweight, Christian Hoskin-Gomez.

Tickets are £30 or £50 Ringside and are available by calling: 07837 920 150. Doors open at the Riviera International Centre at 6.30pm. First bell is 7.30pm.
