Ali Adams returns to the ring after 2 year ban

Iraqi Born Heavyweight Ali Adams returns to the ring in September after his 2 year ban from the sport was lifted.

Adams who is currently going through the re-application process through the boxing board of control hopes to be back in the ring on a Josh Goodwin show at York Hall in a 6 rounder.

“I am delighted to be back” said Adams “i made a genuine mistake and paid the price. That is now behind me and I want to move on”.

Adams was last seen in the ring in May 2012 when he suffered a stoppage defeat at the hands of Audley Harrison before being banned for 2 years for having a banned substance in his body.

Adams decided to re-sign with Steve Goodwin as his manager and said “I class Steve as a friend. He kept in contact with me throughout my ban and gave me support.”

“I will keep active and build up towards titles. It is time for the talking to stop and for me to do my stuff in the ring and I am so hungry now to put things right.
