Boucherville, Tuesday December 2nd 2014 – InterBox is proud to announce it has signed young and talented fighter David Théroux (4-0-0, 3 KO) for a period of three years. His first bout will be onSaturday, December 6, where the Sorel native will fight Poland’s Maurycy Gojko (22-44-3, 8 KO) as part of the Pascal-Bolonti undercard. Théroux, who was already part of the InterBox environment –he started training with the company when he turned professional – will work under trainer Pierre Bouchard, as well as under the supervision of Stephan Larouche, who will act as trainer-consultant.
At only 20 years of age, the Sorel athlete is on the road to a promising career and will be joining training partners Junior Ulysse and Bogdan Dinu in the InterBox family. David Théroux made his professionnal debut earlier this year, June 28, in a fight against Luke Noel (1-2-0, 0 KO), which he won by technical KO in the 1st round. To this day, he has four wins in as many fights, having come up with a brilliant victory on November 21, in his hometown, against Noel Meja Rinco (12-4-1, 9 KO).
A landmark fight
David Théroux will be making his official debut with InterBox at the Bell Centre, this Saturday, Dec. 6, when he goes against Poland’s Maurycy Gojko (22-44-3, 8. KO). Théroux will be joining fellow boxers Ulysse, Dinu, Joel Diaz, Schiller Hyppolite and Steven Butler on a high-level Pascal-Bolonti undercard.
