Unbeaten light-heavyweight prospect, Ahmed Elbiali (9-0, 9 KOs) makes his way back to the ring tomorrow night at the Hialeah Park Race Track in Hialeah, Florida, when he faces Mike Stafford (13-2, 3 KOs). The 6-round bout will open up the ESPN “Friday Night Fights” telecast beginning at (9PM ET/6PM PT).
The heavy handed Egyptian-American, Elbiali, is eager to showcase his power against Stafford, as he looks to extend on his undefeated record while keeping his knockout streak intact. Managed by Al Haymon, Elbiali is on the fast track to super stardom.
“When I step in the ring my main objective is to bring a lot of excitement to the fans,” said Ahmed Elbiali. “Everyone loves to see knockouts and that’s what I do best. I’m well prepared to go the distance if need be, but my goal is to always get my opponent out of there early. This division is filled with big punchers, who have tremendous knockout ratios. I want to be at the top of that list.”
“I humbly want to thank everyone who’s helped me get to where I’m at today,” Ahmed Elbiali continued. “A lot of people have put in a tremendous amount of work to help me achieve my dream of becoming a world champion. The journey is just beginning and I know with Al Haymon guiding my career, sky is the limit.”
In his last fight, a bout that was show live on ESPN “Friday Night Fights”, Elbiali, scored an impressive 2nd round knockout against former undefeated foe Dustin Echard (10-1, 7 KOs). He’ll look to keep that momentum roaring against Stafford.
