The bill for Black Country Boxing’s ‘A New Dawn’ at Walsall Town Hall on Saturday, 25th April, has now been finalised.
Stafford’s Rob Hunt and Nuneaton’s Sullivan Mason top the bill as they go head-to-head for the vacant Midlands Area Welterweight Title.
Hunt goes into the bout on the back of a British Bronze Masters Title win over Liam Richards whilst Mason has only lost one of his opening 12 professional bouts.
Another belt is up for grabs as Stourbidge’s Steven Pearce, a former Midlands Area Welterweight Champion himself, takes on Sleaford’s Amir Unsworth for a Bronze Masters strap.
Rowley Regis’ two-time British Title Challenger, Jason Welborn, takes on Trowbridge’s teak-tough Dan Blackwell over 6×3’s at light middleweight and Walsall’s Midlands Light Welterweight Champion, Luke Paddock, warms up for his latest defence, scheduled for June against Chris Truman, with a 4×3’s run-out against Tamworth’s Matt Seawright.
Welshpool light middleweight ticket-seller,Warren Sinden, is in action over 4×3’s and Stoke’s Joshua McLaren steps in with Melksham’s Liam Richards, again over 4×3’s.
Four more four round fights complete the card.
Wolverhampton welterweight, Sid Bowater, is set to make his professional debut against Gillingham’s Mick Mills and fellow debutant, Ludlow’s Craig Morris, faces Poland’s Robert Strudinski at light middleweight.
Two boxers – Wolverhampton’s Ben Wilkes and Burton Tom Shaw – make their ring return after lengthy absences.
Middleweight Wilkes’ takes on Croydon’s Joe Walsh whilst light welterweight, Shaw, takes on ‘Dangerous’ Dan Carr (Trowbridge).
