Undefeated and the soon-to-be retired Floyd Mayweather is back in training ahead of his last fight on September 12 with the opponent still to be confirmed.
No official announcement has been made regarding Floyd Mayweather’s next opponent. However, report’s claim Andre Berto is high on the list of probable challengers.
After rumours of the potential match-up on September 12 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas surfaced all over the internet, Andre Berto added:
“I am happy to be in the running for this fight and am definitely up for the challenge. I know it will be a great fight if it happens”
Others in the running include Amir Khan, Canelo Alvarez, Timothy Bradley, Keith Thurman, Kell Brook and Manny Pacquiao, who is currently ruled out due to a shoulder injury.
Floyd Mayweather who boasts a record of 48-0 with 26 knock-out’s previously stated that his forthcoming September fight at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas will most likely be his last.
