January is set to see UBBAD in conjunction with Rouge Elite once more raise the bar when it comes to BKB shows. On 16th January 2016 all eyes will be on Coventry for what has been quite rightly termed the ‘BKB Super show’.
Many promoters in this day and age look to fill venues with capacities of 200 or 250 maximum, but UBBAD don’t believe in doing things by half and after three sell out shows of 500 plus in 2015 at Nottingham’s Cowlick Hall its time for things to get yet again bigger, with the 1500 capacity Coventry Blitz show which is looking to also be a sell-out very soon as well.
Why is this? Well it’s a combination of top class management, top class venues with all of the stops pulled out and World class BKB Bouts. As yet the full card hasn’t been announced for January but the bouts that have been announced so far can only be described as mouth-watering.
Topping the bill is a real explosion of two differing fighting styles with two unbeaten BKB fighters as they contest the ‘World Bare Knuckle Boxing Council’ Middleweight Belt, what a match this is with both warriors unbeaten with a 5-0 record, Jimmy ‘The Celtic’ Warrior Sweeney vs Christian ‘Fatboy’ Evans. Now this truly is a fight that the fans want to see in what is surely going to be one of the most talked about bouts of the year.
Then the Co-main event see’s British, Transatlantic and WBKBC Champion Michael ‘The Real Deal’ Ferry return to the ring in a bid to defend his UBBAD British Heavyweight title against someone with a huge amount of boxing experience but still new to both UBBAD and BKB Richie Glaysher.
So with just the two top of the bill fights we can already see that this is shaping up to be one of epic proportions, my prediction for fight of the night? Well what about this one we have none other than Sean ‘The Outlaw’ George vs Ross ‘The Problem’ Chittock, now his guarantees to be an action packed battle right to the end!
Now as always in a bid to give the fans want they want, and here at UBBBAD we all know just how much you love a title fight, so we will also see Donald ‘The Highlander’ McPhee in his first title defence where he will take on Jon Stuart who is determined to become the Scottish Champion.
Yet another corker on the card will be two of the newer names to UBBAD both having one bout each and both proving that they fire on all cylinders in an explosive way, John Sweeny vs Jay Ferguson you want fireworks? You want all-out war? You want Armageddon then we promise you this bout will have it all!
And Ladies and Gentlemen how about The Return of the ‘Pretty Boy’ as Nathen Lesson takes on Scott Midgely, this will be an amazing bout and one that the fans will love to see as Boxer takes on Brawler, in the matches literally anything can happen, and Midgely will be seriously pumped up looking for an explosive win in his first fight back from his failed World Title bid against American Billy Martin.
Now a true fight where anything can happen see’s ‘The Baby Faced Assassin’ Josh Foreman who stands unbeaten in BKB at 2-0 after wins over both Tony Crawford and John Hawthorn go toe to toe with the 0-2 John Spencer, but don’t let statistics make you think that Josh is in for an easy fight as the combat sports Veteran John Spencer has taken on two of the very best in UBBAD, ex commonwealth Champion from Hartlepool Kev Bennett and ‘The Outlaw’ Sean George. John Spencer has a huge amount of fights in the bank in a variety of disciplines including, BKB, Boxing, K1 Rules Kickboxing and Professional MMA.
Following on with the lightweight match ups we see the return of Nottingham’s Tom Lax who will do battle with non-other than ‘Bang Bangs’ younger brother John ‘The Hitman Hawthorn. John will be looking to prove himself coming back from two losses and I am sure that Lax will want to pick up a second win in his UBBAD journey.
What’s that I hear you say? You want a Heavyweight Clash? Well OK how about this one for you Adam Downie, who was the first to defeat the tough Bradford fighter in BKB Nathen JDogg with cross swords so to speak with Rouge Elites Adam ‘Butch Brown’, both of these big men will meet in the ring coming from wins last time out in what is sure to be a real clash of the Heavyweight Titans, and a cracking bout lined up will be two tough experienced guys who will both maker their UBBAD Debut, as Birmingham’s Ricky Nedler takes on Jason Edmand.
Coming back from bitter disappointment after losing out on the Scottish strap the ‘Highlander’ Donald McPhee is Billy Burton who takes on ex K1 Rules Kickboxer and two fights in Sean Wilkinson, Sean who debuted for UBBAD at Wales and lost out by one single point to Duane ‘The Wrecking Machine’ Keen and last time out stepped up at only a few hours’ notice to fight Glenn Moore after a late pull-out will be looking to change his 0-2 record and take the win over Burton.
Talking of Glenn Moore we give you what I think has the potential to be a fast and powerful fight as Moore takes on Sean ‘Razor’ McFarlane, Sean who trains out of Shaun Smith’s Gym in Warrington debuted on the Wales show this year and took a first round win over Sunderland’s Johnny Hawthorn and what about this one for you, one of my favourite new fighters that always puts on a show Chris Wheeldon who last time out took a convincing win from Glenn Moore will be taking UBBAD’s Liam Preece.
So how does that fight card grab you so far then? This is better already than most BKB shows in the UK, or even worldwide and these bouts are guaranteed all ‘Thrillers’ and no ‘Fillers’ but that isn’t enough for us hare at UBBAD to give you as we still have some more amazing matches to announce.
The show itself will take place at ‘The Sports Connexion’ Leisure centre in Coventry and already tickets are flying like for this 1500 capacity BKB Super Show with tickets priced at £30 for standard and £50 for VIP.
Once again UBBAD are pushing the boundaries of BKB making it mainstream with what is easily the biggest and best BKB fight show ever staged worldwide, and working alongside Rouges Elite just who could ask for more?
Tickets can be ordered online now using the secure UBBAD online ticket portal which can be found at bbadtv.com/tickets
My advice? Don’t hang around or you may just find that you’re missing out on BKB history!
Many more top matches in addition to this!
