British, Transatlantic and World Bare Knuckle Boxing Champion, Newcastle upon Tyne’s Michael ‘The Real Deal’ Ferry continued his winning streak last Saturday at the UBBAD Coventry Blitz show during a defence of his British Title against ex professional boxer Richie ‘The Ace’ Glaysher.
Ferry got off to a lightning start which as something that we have come to expect with his fighting style tying up Glaysher from the outset with lightning fast and powerful head and body combinations, twice taking Glaysher to the Canvas in round one.
Glashyer who certainly took some punishment tried his utmost to regain his composure and kept getting to his feet with some vigour after the punishment that Ferry was dishing out, but it all proved to be too much when the fight was stopped early in the second round by the referee, once more leaving Ferry the British BKB Champion.
Michael Ferry retains the British Heavyweight BKB title, along with the BKB Transatlantic and World Bare Knuckle Boxing titles to add to his gloved BBU (British Boxing Union) title.
Glashyer is now set to return to fight in the light heavyweight division, still hungry for a championship strap
