An integral part of the Dennis Hobson camp, Lewis Taylor gets a huge opportunity on March 12, when he takes on 15-fight undefeated Tommy Langford for the Birmingham man’s WBO Inter-Continental middleweight title at Liverpool’s Echo Arena.
Dubbed the ‘Fighting Accountant’ by promoter Dennis Hobson, Dronfield’s Taylor works in a office by day but turns into a skilful, fighting-machine when he gets in the ring. With just one defeat on his 20-bout ledger, Lewis picked up the English middleweight title in July last year by defeating Grant Cunningham, and successfully defended the belt in November with a fine stoppage win against local rival, Jez Wilson.
