Sanigar Events present a night of action packed championship boxing in the heart of the Welsh Valleys, Merthyr Tydfil this Saturday March 5th.
Hometown favourite Dai Davies will return to action at the Merthyr Leisure Centre in an International Challenge Belt Championship. Dai’s opponent Giorgi Gachechiladze is coming off two straight knock out wins and is the number one featherweight in Georgia. Dai is back in front of his passionate Welsh support following a razor thin points loss in a Commonwealth title eliminator to Josh Wale.
Mountain Ash’s unbeaten prospect Tony Dixon will also step up and fight for his first title as a professional when he and Ryan Toms compete for the British Challenge Belt. Dixon is hoping for a break out year and a chance to showcase his all action style. Former amateur star Morgan Jones from Aberdare will also step up in his first contest over 6 rounds. The highly rated super middleweight prospect will be hoping to secure his second win in less than a month and boost his unbeaten record to 6-0.
Welsh heavyweight hope Dorian Darch is on a two fight winning streak and will face Milen Paunov of Bulgaria who also holds a winning record in what could be the fight of the night.
Also on the bill unbeaten light welterweight prospects Richard Canning and Kyle Jones continue their progression through the professional ranks.
The weigh in for Valley Fighters an action packed night of professional boxing will take place on Friday 4th March at 7pm at The Merthyr Leisure Centre, Merthyr Tydfil CF48 1UT. Boxers will be available for one to one interviews and photos afterwards and all press and members of the public are invited to attend.

Tickets will be available on the door £30 Unreserved Seating and £40 Ringside remaining.
