Asif Vali’s search for a future world champion begins in earnest tonight (April 23) when, along with Dennis Hobson and ex-fighter Kieran Farrell, he promotes at Bolton’s Macron Stadium.

Vali, former manager of Amir Khan and current member of Tyson Fury’s team, has been signing up talent across the Northwest and believes he will unearth a future star as he prepares to promote regularly in the region.

“This area has a great history of producing British and world champions, and I’m convinced that we will uncover another star from one of our shows.

“It’s fantastic to be teaming up with Dennis, we’ve both worked with fighters at the very top of the game already and are looking forward to bringing more through. I’m also pleased to have Kieran on-board who was a great fighter and is proving a success after hanging up his gloves.

“We’ve got some talented fighters already on this first show who I have great belief in, and we’re expecting some excellent fights for the fans. There will be a few tickets on the door for people who haven’t got one yet, and I look forward to seeing everyone there.”

Dennis Hobson Promotions in association with Platinum Promotions and Kieran Farrell Promotions present an evening of boxing in the Premier Suite at Bolton’s Macron Stadium on April 23.

Appearing will be Leeds’ Reece Cartwright and Zahid Hussain; Warrington’s Nathan Wheatley; Bolton’s Osman Aslam; Skerton’s Reece Macmillan; Rochdale’s Bilal Rehman, and Ryan Watson.
