Zach Parker Joins Marsh Stable

Derby super middleweight, Zach Parker, has penned a new management contract with respected boxing promoter and manager, Neil Marsh.

The 22 year-old is undefeated in his opening seven fights since turning professional last year and Marsh, who manages the likes of interim WBA Welterweight Champion, David Avanesyan, WBA Continental Super Lightweight Champion, Robbie Davis Jr, and Blackpool super lightweight prospect, Adam Little, is delighted to add him to his growing stable.

“Zach is a very good prospect,” explained Marsh. “I’ve kept close tabs on him and have been very impressed by his work ethic and potential.

“He’s had seven fights and we are looking to get him out twice before the turn of the year and then we have high hopes for him in 2017.”

“I’m really looking forward to working with Neil,” added Parker. “We get on really well and I’m excited by what the future holds. He has boxers fighting at world level and that’s my ultimate aim. I’m delighted he will be a big part of my journey.”

Parker, (7-0, 5KO’s) will continue to work closely with Black Country Boxing’s Errol Johnson and Paul Mann, where he will continue to train. He is due to appear on Johnson’s ‘Going For Gold’ show at Walsall Town Hall later this month when he takes on the durable Adam Jones and will be in action in Tewksbury on 10th December.

“It’s important that Zach works with the people who have guided so well thus far,” added Marsh. “Errol and Paul know him as a man and as a fighter and, with me on board too, I think Zach has the perfect team to take him forward.

“I’m going to be working very closely with Errol and Paul and I’m so grateful they have given me the opportunity to get on board. I’m looking forward to seeing how far we can go together.”

Parker is joined on Going For Gold by former British Champion, Martin Gethin, Old Hill super featherweight, Manny Zaber, Chasetown lightweight, Luke Jones, West Bromwich welterweight, Tommy Loach, and Wolverhampton cruiserweight, Joshua Burke.
