Deontay Wilder and Dominic Breazeale Feud gets nasty and personal

Deontay Wilder

Whether you love him or despite him, there is no denying how vocal of a figure WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is.

Wilder just has a way of grabbing headlines, whether it’s from his war of words with Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn, or getting people excited for his next fight, which appears to be a huge showdown with former lineal champion Tyson Fury later this year.

Recently, however, things have taken a drastic turn, as things have gotten very personal between Wilder and contender Dominic Breazeale. The two are presently locked in a viscous war of words online.

Wilder recently spoke with FightHype.com.

“Well we already know what Dominic Breazeale is doing, he’s trying to taunt me into fighting him, which is not working because of those reasons,” Wilder said. “You can’t get me too upset, especially with your words, unless you can definitely do something. Like unless you fuckin’ wit my homie or something like that, then we good!”

Wilder added:

“You talking about me and throwing assaults at me?! That ain’t gonna get it because my mind is already made up on that Breazeale fight. And if it do happen [laughs], aw man, I’ma make sure he bring his son up on the stage to look the man in the eye that’s gonna cripple his daddy!”

Those words alone raised an eye from quite a few people who have taken offense to bringing up Breazeale’s child into this.

“I want them to look me in my eye!” Wilder continued. “Because Breazeale’s whole story is so wrong, so twisted. Dominic Breazeale, that fight is automatically, bro. Dominic Breazeale, you can keep what you got coming to you! Trust me!”

Breazeale obviously took extreme disdain from Wilder’s words and came back with a message of his own, as he took to his personal Instagram account to speak.

“Lord I ask for your forgiveness for what I’m about to say should’ve never come out of my mouth. Wilder, you ain’t shit! For one man to talk about another man’s son, and to talk about crippling a man in the ring, you ain’t nothing man. You got the heavyweight championship, that’s about it. Outside of that: two wives, three girlfriends, three kids you know about, a disabled child, kids on the side; your life is all f*cked up!”

Breazeale continued:

“You wanna come at me with some bullshit?”Breazeale asked. “Be a man! Step up! Get the paperwork done and send the contract over. You and I, we can square this off in the ring and you’ll lose the only good thing you ever had in your life! Send it over. My revenge is coming.”

Wilder is presently 40-0 (39 KO’s) while Breazeale is 19-1 (17 KO’s). It would make for an ideal fight in 2019.
