Sydney bruiser ‘Gelignite’ Jack Brubaker 14-2-1 (7) has signed with Dubai-based management firm MTK Global.
The exciting welterweight is looking to breakthrough on the world stage following his 12-round unanimous points victory over former English and British champion Tyrone Nurse in May.
The 26-year-old Cronulla boxer has a fan-friendly style and is a former OPBF and WBC Youth champion.
Brubaker sees MTK Global as a natural fit for his career ambitions.
“The reason I signed for MTK Global is simple: they want to sign future world champions and I want to win world titles,” said the three-time Australian Golden Gloves champion.
“A lot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into getting me to this point. I owe it to myself, my family and my team to give this everything I’ve got. I’m a tall, aggressive boxer who always comes to fight.
“Mike Altamura and MTK Global are the best in the business and I’m humbled to be given this opportunity.”
The deal was brokered by leading manager and MTK Global international consultant Mike Altamura.
“Jack is a very talented kid with a warm personality. I’m looking forward to seeing his career unfolds under the MTK Global umbrella,” said Altamura.
“I feel a lot of opportunities will be presented to him over the next 12-18 months. As he continues to learn his craft, he’ll be able to mix it with the world’s best in due course.
“Jack brings a very fan-friendly and exciting brand of boxing to the ring and as for his nickname ‘Gelignite’ – he packs some dynamite in those hands.”
