Al Bernstein Returns to Oklahoma Booxing

Hall of Fame boxing announcer Al Bernstein will serve as play by play announcer and host of the telecast of the Four State Franchise Boxing Show on Saturday, May 30 at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma.  The syndicated broadcast will air on over the air television stations and on Cox cable throughout a number of Midwest states including Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma.

Al Bernstein Boxing Hangout Previews “Knockout Night at the D”

The latest Boxing Hangout show hosted by Hall Of Fame broadcaster Al Bernstein previews “Knockout Night at the D”, a stacked boxing card to be held May 22 at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. Undefeated light heavyweight Mike Lee will be Al’s special guest on the hangout and help preview this night of boxing action. The hangout can be seen at www.youtube.com/AlsBoxingHangouts.

Al Bernstein’s “Countdown to Mayweather-Pacquiao”

Hall of Fame boxing announcer Al Bernstein, who will serve as ringside analyst on the May 2nd pay per view telecast of the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight,  will do special versions of his Boxing Hangout videos leading up to the mega match.  These Boxing Hangouts will begin on April 20th and continue until the day of the fight, providing a “Countdown To Mayweather-Pacquaio.”  In these videos  Al will provide his unique insights as well as news developments about the big match.

Al Bernstein Appears at Collegiate Championships

For the second straight year Hall Of Fame Boxing Broadcaster Al Bernstein will make a special  appearance at the United States Intercollegiate Boxing Championships on April 11 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Bernstein who is a big supporter of USIBA  said, “this organization has given college men and women an outlet to participate in boxing and I am happy to help focus attention on these talented young athletes.”

Bernstein Reflects on Hagler-Hearns 30th Anniversary

On April 15, 1985, when Marvelous Marvin Hagler battled Tommy Hearns in their epic match, Al Bernstein was there to announce the fight. Thirty years later, on May 2, 2015, Al Bernstein will, again be ringside to announce the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquaio mega fight. In between those two great events Al has fashioned an announcing career that earned him a long list of accolades and landed him in The International Boxing Hall of Fame.

Al Bernstein: Makes ITV Debut

Hall of Fame Boxing Announcer Al Bernstein will serve as analyst on the ITV telecast of the Carl Frampton-Chris Avalos super bantamweight championship fight on Saturday, Feb. 28. This will be Al’s first appearance as a boxing announcer on ITV, one of England’s major terrestrial networks.  This match signals the return of boxing to ITV for the first time since 2008. The main event will be shown on ITV and undercards fights will air on ITV4.
