Tickets for the huge show at The O2 on May 30 with World title fights for Kevin Mitchell and Lee Selby and Heavyweight sensation Anthony Joshua’s meeting with Kevin Johnson go on sale to Matchroom Fight Pass members at 9am on Monday March 30 and then on general sale the following day.

Lee Selby, Kevin Mitchell and Anthony Joshua named for O2 Super show

Kevin Mitchell and Lee Selby will fight for World titles at The O2 on May 30, with Anthony Joshua MBE taking on Kevin Johnson on a massive night for British boxing.

Popular Londoner Mitchell take on three-weight World Champion Jorge Linares for the Venezuelan’s WBC Lightweight crown following his standout performance at the same venue in January, with a punch-perfect eight-round stoppage win over Daniel Estrada to land the shot at Linares, who knocked out Javier Prieto in December in Tokyo to land the vacant crown.

Hughie Fury looks to one-up Anthony Joshua with win over Rudenko in Monaco

Eager to make up for lost time, Hughie Fury returns to the ring on February 21 in Monte Carlo knowing a win over Ukrainian dangerman Andriy Rudenko will make the rest of the heavyweight division sit up and take notice.

The 20-year-old Fury, inactive since May due to illness, is back firing on all cylinders and keen to emerge as the UK’s leading heavyweight prospect in 2015. To do so, he’ll have to beat Rudenko and stay one step ahead of unbeaten Olympic champion Anthony Joshua.

Joshua out of Johnson fight

Anthony Joshua MBE has been forced out of his fight with Kevin Johnson at The O2 on January 31 after aggravating a back injury.

The Olympic gold medal hero has a Pars Stress Fracture in his back which required immediate medical attention and subsequent physiotherapy. On the advice of his medical team and trainer he has been ordered to rest before resuming training to appear on the Newcastle bill on April 4.

Saunders and Joshua headline Newcastle show

Bradley Saunders and Anthony Joshua will headline a huge show at the Metro Radio Arena as Matchroom bring live Sky Sports boxing to Newcastle on April 4.

Saunders will take on Dave Ryan for the Commonwealth Light Welterweight title, while Joshua will be fighting in his 12th pro fight after facing former World title challenger Kevin Johnson for the WBC International Heavyweight title in London next month.

Fury targets Klitschko not Joshua

Promoter Frank Warren has said that media reports today of plans to make a fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are both inaccurate and wide of the mark.

Fury defeated Chisora, for the second time, last Saturday night at the ExCeL London to win the British, European and WBO International Heavyweight titles, whilst securing the mandatory challenger position to Wladimir Klitschko’s WBO World title.

Joshua stops Sprott inside 90 seconds

Anthony Joshua MBE produced scintillating fireworks to stop Michael Sprott inside 90 seconds at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Joshua hurt Sprott with a big right hand and sensing the Reading man was in trouble he poured the pressure on and with nothing coming back, Joshua made it ten wins and ten KOs in the paid ranks.

Cleverly to Battle Bellew in Rematch that Headlines a Gargantuan Card on Saturday Afternoon

On Saturday afternoon, November 22, one of the biggest days in boxing will take place as an eagerly anticipated rematch between former Light Heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly and former two-time championship challenger Tony Bellew airs exclusively and live on AWE.

The 12-round Cruiserweight World Title eliminator bout will originate from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England and will be broadcast LIVE in the United States on AWE-A Wealth of Entertainment.

Two co-main events feature two WBA world title bouts. Scott Quigg will make the 5th defense of the WBA Super Bantamweight title against Hidenori Otake of Tokyo, Japan. Also co-featured is two-time Bantamweight champion Jamie McDonnell defending the WBA Bantamweight title against Walberto Ramos of Colombia.

Joshua vs. Wilder: If and When

It only went two rounds but I just wanted to hurt him—Anthony Joshua

“I’ll be looking to take his [Joshua] head off his shoulders,”—David Price

It almost seems that this fight is pre-ordained though Bermaine Stiverne may have something to say about that.

Joshua sends power threat to Heavyweight rivals

Anthony Joshua MBE claimed his first professional title on Saturday night with a brutal second round KO of Denis Bakhtov – and chillingly warned his Heavyweight rivals: ‘My power is only going to grow.’

The Olympic gold medal hero blasted Bakhtov out of the equation in just five ruthless minutes in east London, back in the venue of his debut last October.

Joshua signalled his intent in the opening round, staggering the Russian with a fierce right counter that led to the 24 year old hunting a fourth first-round stoppage.

Running Order: Joshua and Selby primed for crunch night

Anthony Joshua MBE and Lee Selby are ready for their crucial clashes at The O2 in London tomorrow night (October 11) live on Sky Sports.

Joshua meets Denis Bakhtov in his first title fight as a professional and if he can land the vacant WBC International title, the 24 year old will cap a fine first year in the paid ranks at the venue he made his debut in on October 5 2013.

Bakhtov is just shy of 50 pro fights and 247 rounds of action in his 15 year career, the Russian is expected to provide a stern test of Joshua’s ambitions and the Olympic gold medal hero knows he will have to be at his best to make it nine KO wins in a row.

Joshua ready to cap first year as a pro in style

Anthony Joshua MBE says winning the WBC International Heavyweight title will be the perfect way to celebrate one year in the pro game at The O2 tomorrow night, live on Sky Sports.

Joshua faces the experienced Russian Denis Bakhtov for the vacant crown and does so at the venue of his debut back on October 5 2013, where he dismantled Emanuele Leo inside a round.

Seven fighters have stood opposite Joshua since that night and only one has made him hear the bell for the third round, Konstantin Airich in his last outing in Manchester last month, the German-based Kazakh providing game resistance until just past the halfway mark of the third.
