Gethin aiming to upset and beat overhyped Coyle

Martin Gethin believes he is more than capable of causing an upset in Hull when he clashes with hometown hero, Tommy Coyle at the Ice Arena in Hull, live on Sky Sports writes Daniel Mole.

The Walsall boxer travels to the Hull Ice Arena to take on Coyle at the top of the bill, and while the former British Lightweight Champion has been impressed by Coyle’s recent form but insists he is a long way from being the finished article.

Gethin Steps Up

Martin Gethin has set his sights on becoming a two-weight British Champion after making the decision to step up to light welterweight.

The Walsall boxer has campaigned at lightweight throughout his 31-fight professional career that culminated in him being crowned British Lightweight Champion in January 2013.

The 25 year old southpaw has already bagged Prizefighter and English titles whilst running up a perfect 24 fight slate (eight stoppages).
